torque convertor flush question

I'm getting a B&M 2400 stall torque convertor from my neighbor. I just wanted to know what is the best way to flush it out.
It's got very little run time on it, but I think it's been run with type F transmission fluid. I use Dexron III in my TH 350.

Unless you suspect there may be metal or some other contamination in it, I would'nt be too concerned about it. Just turn the converter over with the hub facing down over a drain pan & drain it the best you can by tilting it back and fourth to get most of the old fluid out. What little fluid that remains will probabaly have any effect that you would even notice. If you do suspect contamination, Then try doing the same procedure, but pour some fresh clean mineral spirits into the converter several times.

Drain the old oil and put fresh oil in it and let it run than drain it again. I wouldnt use that flush sh*t it'll just wind up clogging up everything in the end.

I was just concerned about incompatibility issues between the two types of fluid. I know for a fact that the trans the convertor was used with wasn't blown up or anything. He just swapped it out for a 3000 stall convertor at the time.
So if that's the case, just drain out whatever is left in it, add some fresh Dexron, install it and change the fluid after it's been run alittle. Sounds feasible to me.

I thought it would either have to be opened up or drilled out, and have a pipe plug threaded into it.
