Ok here`s the mystery. last winter I purchased a th350 trans for my lemans that is supposed to come from a 75 firebird. Unfortunatly, there is no tag or casting number anywhere on the trans to help with ID. It is a th350 with a dual bolt pattern bellhousing.

The problem I`m having is with the TV/Detent cable. It`s broken and need to be replaced. Now that`s not a problem in it-self, whis is the problem is finding a proper cable. On every cable I find, the end that goes into to trans has an eye-let to hook onto to the detent lever but the original cable in mine has a hook on the end to fit into the lever. Can anyone help me identify this trans and where I can get a cable. Pics are a little hard to take since the trans is in the car at the moment but I will post some with the cable ends tomorrow.
Thanks

My main problem is finding a proper cable for the damm thing. I can`t positively identify the year of the trans to find a cable but it has both bolt patterns on the bellhousing and both a detent/kcikdown cable and a vacuum modulator if this helps.

Oh I forgot, does anyone have a spare th350 pan to sell? I bent mine dragging the trans around. It doesn`t leak for now but I would like to install a non-bent one while the pan is already off.
thanks

Here are pics of the ends of both cables. The one with the hook on it is the one I need but all the others I find have the loop end. Anyone seen this one before?
