had this in the wrong forum by mistake-
My flowtech headers were put on, and they are about an inch or 1 1/2 inches away from the transmission. Could the heat from the headers damage the transmission oil? Also, do I need special sparkplug wires to resist heat? It is a 334 stroker motor.

i dont see the headers causing any damage beeing that close to the transmission .But if ur really worried about it u could get some header wrap that would help keep the heat inside the headers . also i would get some boot sleaves to put on ur spark plug wires . will cost u anywhere from 30 to 50 bucks tho .
