I did the v6 to sbc swap and I have done lots of research and it seems I shouldnt have to change my crossmember. It had a th250 and now has a BOP th350 its close but it doesnt reach and over too much. Im not sure if its suppose to line up after being bolted to the motor???? any advise would help thanks

not sure but try loosing the engine mounts (frame and engine) and there might be alittle wiggle room. to get everything lined up??

IIRC, I think there's a difference between the TH250 mount because it has an offset bracket, whereas the TH350 mount doesn't. Which trans mount are you using TH350 and have you tried swapping them around at all?

The th250 and the th350 crossmembers are different. My car had a swapped in sbc/th350 when I got it and it had the offset mount from the th250 on the th350. I cut the crossmember mount off, centered it, welded it back and now use a th350 mount. If that makes sense

That makes sense, I'm using the mount you have on top...is the bottom photo what I need to make this crossmember work

If you have a th350 trans and crossmember, and it's close, you might try loosening the frame motor mounts brackets, and see if it settles in. I did not know there was a th250 trans or x member on g bodies.

NO. The top mount is for a V8 G-body and the bottom mount is for a V6 G-body. I know I have Two original V8 G-bodys and one V6 with a 305 transplant and the original TH350 with the off set V6 crossmember and mount. Fact : V8 G-bodys and V6 G-bodys have different crossmembers and mounts.
