Transmission Dipstick question.

I swapped my 200c for 2004r, when I did I realized the dipstick would not be long enough to reach the fluid. Now if I buy a 2004r dipstick, will it index 100% accurate to trust its readings? I know I should drop the pan and check but there is $70 of redline in it.

You need the proper stick and tube for a 200-4R.

I was just looking on summit, the TH200 dipsticks are the same as TH2004r dipstick part numbers. Should I knock the tube again and make sure its seated, or chop some off the tube top?

Definately make sure that it's fully seated into the trans.
