I just picked up my th350. It shifted well before it was put up for storage. Well this is what the guy told me. What is the minimum I should do to make sure it last? I know I'm going to change filter and fluids, but is there any type of flush I can buy to use while the trans is out the car? Dont have the money for a full rebuild right now. Im pushing it as it is to get my motor in.

The only thing you can do beyond that without going inside is to flush your cooler and lines.

slap it in your ride, put it on jack stands when you service your transmission with fluid put about an half of can of seafoam in it let it run in gear for about 20 minutes or so , an change your fluid you'll be good to go

Don't know about the Seafoam, but I would run it through the gears with the rear axle firmly supported on stands. Do this slowly so as not to build too much heat. Do both reverse and drive, but make sure the wheels have stopped before switching gears! Use the brakes to do so.

seafoam is some good stuff, i wouldn't run it for an extened period of time, just let it clean the mess up and change the fluid
