would the v8 transmission in my 1980 olds cutlass with a 265 work in my 84 olds cutlass with a 3.8L v6 with out having to change the mounts and shortening the drive shaft?
What transmissions do both cars have? The drive shaft will be fine no matter what, but the crossmember may need to be changed depending on what trans you have. It also depends what bell housing bolt pattern is used.
