I have a 250 3 speed transmission in my cutlass and am going to be putting in a performer carb and was wondering if the transmission has any vacuum going to it and if so, how would i hook that up with the new carb

There is a vacuum port on the runner right behind the carb that you will need to transfer from your old intake to the new Performer intake. That should be your transmission modulator source.

Thanks...okay, I found it I think. And I think I found the other port on a runner at the back to the right on my new manifold.

In the instructions to my edel carb they mention a port on the carb that would be used for an automatic transmission, but doesn't go into any other detail. I'm guessing My transmission will just be hooked up to the vacuum port on my new manifold and the one on the carb should be plugged up. Does this sound right then?

Thanks alot
