i just got domne swapping out the transmission in my 442 with another correct 442 transmission. i have it full of fluid after nearly 2 1/2 gallons and it appears to be working correctly although i have not taken it out of my neighborhood yet but it is making a whining noise only when io put it into gear, it almost sounds like it goes away after i get up to speed but i am not sure since the exhaust is a bit loud. does anyone know what this could be? there is also a fresh filter and seals on it. the transmission sat for at least a year with e and i have no clue how long before that.

up everything is working but i have not taken it past 30ish. i have been having power steering pump issues, brand new pump but i have a hunch that it could be causing the noise. i have a billet bracket that has been fighting me so the belt isnt 100% tight. i dont have anyone to put it in gear while i listen right now but will in a little bit.
