trim removal?

the metal piece of trim that is on the B-piller where to door window seals on the weatherstrip... how do u remove it?

Are you referring to this piece? (Don't mind the hand holding the bag -- I was taking pictures during disassembly)

As you can see from the pictures, there are small sheet metal screws that hold the piece to the body. Hope this helps.

ya thats the one im reffering to. i thought there were screws behind the weatherstrip but its glued in and ill destroy it trying to get it out. ill just mask it off for paint

In your original post, I thought you were referring to the chrome trim on the B-pillar. But now, I think that you're referring to the "beige" part just beside the chrome trim (as shown in the picture where I'm holding the bag). If so, then please note that this trim is held in place by double-sided foam tape. You can remove the piece by gently lifting one end and wedging a piece of wood (or a plactic trowell) and slowly working your way up. You will be able to remove it and you won't destroy the trim.

It's a much better solution than to paint without removing the trim. Just be gentle and go about it slowly. I've done it with good results. After I removed the pieces (see picture below), I had them powdercoated and they look really good.
