Truck race at Eldora

Went to the King's Royal a few times in the early 90's. Man, that track is fast! That was the first time I ever saw a wing car go WOT a full lap. Most of the tracks around here are a lot shorter.
What kind of trucks were running? I've only ever seen the nascrap trucks..... Are they like late models with cabs?

Nascar trucks. There is a track about an hour from Eldora, Waynesfield, that races a stock 4 cyl truck class. S10s, Rangers, whatever the toyota is, pretty much a knock out the windows put a cage in and race kind of deal. Yeah theyre still a half second faster than the Nascar trucks at Eldora when they run there.

Sprint cars are in the 12s around Eldora, the trucks are in the 20s ........

If theres one race you have to see its either the Dream or the World 100

When they put dirt on Bristol TN and ran, Sammy Swindell set the track record in a sprint car at 13.8. It was over a second faster than the NASCAR record held by Ryan Newman. Those are still the meanest cars racing in my opinion.
