ok so the person of which i got my 85 cutlass from doesnt have a key to the doors and i need to get in the trunk which this sounds really bad but does anybody know a way into the trunk with out a key?

drill out the key hole and then you should be able to put a screwdriver and turn it and it should open

Call a locksmith. If you just want to see what is in the trunk, take out the back seat.

taking out the back seat well easier said than done apparently ive been trying to pop the lock on it for a couple of days now and can not get the lock to co-operate with me so i have been tryin to get the rear seats out but yet i cant figure out how the back piece is mounted in i have the lower piece out but not the upper piece

BAck piece (back seat cushion) should be bolted in at the bottom where the seatbelts are bolted. Then you have to lift or bang the bottom of that piece to get it to lift up vertically, don't pull it towards you, keep it in position and lift up and then out. once it comes free you will know. But it might take a little force to get it to lift up.
Then you will have the insulation cardbord assy to deal with but that will lift up easily.

Also another option, IF you know the original dealer that the car was sold when new, you can get the key codes from them. Assuming they keep the files and the dealer is still in buisness. Once you have the key codes, the parts dept will make you a key. You will probably need proof of current ownership.

ok so it should not be that hard to pull the rear seats out but for some reason the bolts do not want to loosen but i will get that takin care of im sure

if you push the top of the set back while you push up it will come out easier. I have had to push on some of them really hard while lifting to get them to come loose.

the only problem i have found now is that the backs of the seats require a torx wrench which i do not have and i still have to pop the trunk open with out a key so can i open the trunk from inside the trunk or do i have to open it from the outside and if i have to open it from the outside how can i break the lock so that i can open it and still shut it

Easiest, and cheapest way to do it. Assuming none of the locks have been changed and you want to have a key. Take off your door panel, either one. Remove the link that goes from the latch to the lock and pop off the horseshoe clip and pull a door lock out. Take it to a locksmith and for less then five bucks and less then five minutes you'll have a key that works.

It's a Torx T45 or T47. The local parts store should have the socket for under $10. Try fitting both in the parking lot and buy the one that fits tightest.
