Ok....so this is a part that me and Brian developed first that I knew would do well for all the ttop cars out these being scraped....but I had no idea how needed this part was till I started the job myself. Have to wonder how many other cars are like this......beware what you are getting to witness is painful! Lol!

The new a pillar here to be installed with the ttop header piece

Damn!! I have a striped 87 Gn ttop shell that is no where nere that bad mine inly has 1 pee size hole. In Fact I sent Brian at Gbody pics of it because as we where emailing back and forth i told him if I kept the Hurst and needed parts for that i would cut the GN up. Seeing your talent thats nothing you cant handle.

Here I am putting the ttop header into place to find that the top side of the visor mounting area on the "A" pillar is shot, so out it goes and in with the new test fit piece.

Man Toby thats what I'am afraid of! Scared to look, but in the spring I'am going to have to take it apart
and face the music. HOPEFULLY its nothing like I just witnessed . FINGERS CROSSED.

Man, that is great! Glad to see these items getting made. 😀

That is very bad damage. Ouch! Good to see replacement parts are being made for the T-top cars. I purchased my 86 in 1996 and it looked like it sat outside a lot in the first 10 years of it's life. The passenger side top leaked real bad I found out of course after i bought the car there was some damage done to that door panel though so it wasn't hard to figure.
The car has been garaged since i have owned it. In 2005 I had the car repainted and the T roof was in bad shape on the pass side. The body shop did a lot of work to get it right. No leaks now with new rubber to boot but I do not drive it in bad weather and it stays garaged.
