Alright, so I got this problem about a week ago. All my lights have worked perfectly fine unit, i noticed one day that my turn signal didn't flash when engaged, whether it be left or right. In other words, when I click the lever to turn on the turn signal, it stays on, I could move the lever back and forth to replicate the turning on and off of the turn signal. I really have no clue what it could be. Turning the wheel still cancels it. I am thinking relay. Any suggestions, ideas, anything, is greatly appreciated.

It's your flasher. On the fuse panel, it'll be round, silver (usually) probably two prong, maybe three. It's really light weight. They cost about $6 Pull it straight out, go to the parts store and pick one just like it up.

Sweet!! Got it fixed! Thanks!
Ok, I wanna learn what it is. Is it a relay?
It is a thermal flasher. You should replace it with an electric one.
The difference is, the thermal ones work by detecting when your bulbs fully illuminate and then the relay heats up and releases. The electric ones control the pulse electronically.

PS It could have also been a bulb if the issue arises again.

...but, the good thing about the old school thermal, is when you lose a light bulb, it flashed really fast, due to the lack of resistance in the circuit. Kinda gives you a clue to look your car over and saves you a ticket! The Electronics flash the same no matter what.

Very true, I use an electronic flasher because I frequently tow with my car and I don't have to worry about swapping flasher relays.

Roger.
