I noticed this morning that my right turn signal is acting up. Every time I put on my right signal light and then put my foot on the brake the turn indicator in the dash is just lighting up and not flashing. I was just out in the garage trying to find the problem and I noticed that when my right signal is on that it is flashing both right and left just like a hazard light. All the bulbs are good on both left and right taillights . Could it be in the flasher relay or am I going to have to dig a little deeper?
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Chris

Sounds like u have a short, possible in the switch. Yergonna have to do a lil diggin to find it.

Start by unplugging the rear harness and ohmeing out the right and left signal wires. Next i would unplug the harness from the switch under the colume and ohme the both wires. If u get a contineuity reading with the switch harness unplugged install a new switch and harness into the colume.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Pontiac455. I found the issue. It was a loose wire in the harness under the steering column. Man I hate electrical problems. Thanks again.
