Looking at my worthless *ss lack of progress now, hard to believe what I could do just 4 years ago. Started to restomod my 87 442, got sick, and not much since but plans and hope.

Gotta admit the view ain’t bad though and the pond is stocked (y)
What do you have stocked in there?

Bass. Channel Cat, and Crappie but I think the Crappie may have gotten Darwin'd? Haven't seen any in a while. And one humongous Carp that I think might have been a Koi. Has some orange and black on it though not much. I am almost certain I have a huge fresh water eel of some kind in there. Have only seen it up in the shallows maybe 3 times. No noticeable dorsal fin, fish like tail, but moves like a snake. Has to be a 3 footer.

Carp is almost tame. You can walk right up to it when it's feeding in the shallows and it just looks at you. You get a few feet away it will just wallow over a couple feet and just keep on looking at you.

Thanks, I think it is likely a gar but have not seen the head. Tail looks like one.

Make sense Garth would have a Gar?

Thanks all! Sorry to Bogart the thread but when I get depressed from winter or lack of project progress, having a postcard view (especially for Kansas) out the back windows is a blessing. Since I can’t post project update pics . . .

Had a snow geese couple drop by the other day for a visit.

And at least someone is fishing . . .
Took this Lesser Blue an hour to eat it.

On top of all the snow (I am in Michigan). All the close by drag strips do not open until May. So March 1st I am driving 8 hours to Bowling Green, KY for their first day of test and tune. I feel the need for speed!

Below is the current view form my front door! 23 degrees!

I meant to say tracks do not open until April. Why I wrote May. I have no clue.
