Is anyone using UMI springs on their car? Im liking what they have to say about them, and that they are a vendor, but cant find any pictures of cars running them or peoples impressions of them. (seach feature doesnt like 3 letter words  )

What is everyone elses favorite?

Going for family pro-touring vibe  firm is ok, hard is not.

Is UMI making their own springs now? I installed a stage 3 handling kit a year and a half ago and Eibach springs, which are great, were part of the kit. If they are making springs, I'm sure they are top of the line quality. I have been absolutely impressed by UMI's quality and customer service.

It seems they are. The advert is a little murky though. Can't tell if they only have rears available right now.

Hey guys. Ramey here.

We are indeed working on new springs. Our A-body springs have been a huge hit for the past few months. The rears are interchangeable with G-body so we threw them on the site. And on our Green Machine for street, auto-x (400 laps at Carlisle) and road racing (Musclecar Challenge at Pittsburgh International). They are comfortable yet handling worthy.

Within the next few weeks we'll have a front set in our Green Machine for testing. It currently has Viking DA's up front.

It took months of research to settle on rates, materials and manufacturing details for our A-body springs. They are built from 5160 CrSi premium wire up front and from 9254 CrSi premium wire out back. The rears are 130 lb/in linear, slightly firmer than stock and linear to promote consistent handling for today's Pro-Tour style cars.

Look for a complete 1" lowering and 2" lowering, hopefully by Thanksgiving. 1" lowering rears ship immediately.

Another interesting concept we're looking at is our springs with Ridetech shocks. RT has some pretty sweet standard mount shocks as well as standard mount with Rebound adjustability. Look for some Green Machine testing on those as well.

Any questions or tech stuff, let me know.
