The plugs are designed to only fit in the correct sockets. Looks like some cowboys tore though that engine bay. Your motor is an Olds 307? Bad thing about G bodies is they are prone to have hackjobs done to them.

2nd pick looks like transmission lock-up wire (4pin connector, probably only has 2wires)

In your first picture, the white 3 terminal plug goes to your Throttle position sensor in the carb, the MAP sensor plug is black, not white. The TPS is on the driver's side of the carb. In the same pic, the 2 terminal, 90 deg plug on top of the battery goes to the fuel mixture control solenoid on top of the carb. In the 2nd pic, the square 4 terminal plug goes to the driver's side of the transmission to control the torque converter lockup. In the 6th pic, the 4 terminal plug in the background on top of the battery goes to the dist for the computer controlled spark timing advance. Looks like someone unplugged all of the computer system in some lame attempt to fix the car.

I'll aft to look Friday night when I get back. Thanks for help. Car runs good after it gets warmed up. No its not a 307,wish it was. It's the 260 2bb. There is also 2 grounds that are part of first wire loom. I'll let you all know soon as I het home. Again thanks for the help.

Sounds like someone swapped engines in that car, and not a good swap job either. It should have either a Buick 231 V6 or a Olds 307 V8. The current engine probably doesn't even have computer hookups so they just tucked the harness off to the side.

nope its the original engine. Mother in law bought it new in 82 but brother in law "worked" on it after it was parked. From what I've read that was the last year for that engine. Dip $hit brother in law can't remember what he did but I will get it fixed. Just need help from my g-body family.

Well the harness for that 301 should be like any other Gbody harness, it should run up the passeneger side of the motor, run across the top and then go down the driver's side of the motor to the trans. As I said the plugs will only fit the correct sockets so you can't plug the wrong things together.
