Did all A/G-Bodies get these,I don't see them under the dash at all? Is there a plug in already there if they were an option? I have a '78 Cutlass Brougham,I would think these would've been in it......Someone give me an idea where to look please.

Where are they,by the door, near the trans hump, and are they easy to spot? I just need to know where to look without laying on my back for an hour.

In my GP on the driver's side it's on the center console side up under the dash close to the firewall...the passenger side is on the kick panel side. I changed all my interior lites to led, better lighting and very little draw on the battery

Apparently,my car doesn't have them, the passenger's side even has a black plastic cover underneath the glovebox to prevent any light from coming through, even if I did have them.......On the Titan forum, there was a guy making "bed light" kits for under the bed rail that would light up the whole bed.....I might get some LED bars and run them under each side of the dash, that should be more than plenty of light......would I wire it to my dome light, since it's activated by the knob and the door switch? Suggestions?

I wouldn't go through all that trouble when you could easily wire in the grey G body bulb housings and make it look like it came from the factory with the option. If memory serves me, one of the housings have a hook / barb set up and the others are secured with a single 7mm screw. You can still find these parts in the salvage yards.

What are you doing on the front seat floor that you need it lit up like a pickup bed? Seems like if a lamp will light an entire pickup bed, it's overkill for courtesy lamps.

Some of the cars didn't get the lamps because either the lamp group wasn't ordered or an option that included the lamp group as part of the package wasn't ordered. Cutty is correct in as much as the correct lamps are readily available and at a reasonable cost. Hey, it's your hot rod, do as you wish but the OE lamps will be much easier to install, look correct and be a lot less expensive. ...
