Well, it turns out the Front's are Unilug and the Rears are Direct Drilled.
huh.. And the fronts are 14x7, Rears 15x8. The front's are in Fair shape.. they're 10 footers. The rears are brand new. All four have brand new tires. All the Lugs came with them.
So, I took them.. the price was really too good to pass up, even if (which I am going to) end up with 2 brand new 15x8's and 2 new tires for spares.
First off - 14" Unilug Front - 205/70-14
I don't like em.
A) They're 10 footers, get up on em, they're not looking so hot.
B) They "thunk". Now, I have yet to get my hands ON MY OWN Torque Wrench I LENT someone (That'll learn me) to make sure they're 80lb (per Cragar). Yes, they have washers and the proper lugs.. Once I get them torqued, I will see if they still "thunk" on bumps.. But it is concerning.
C) The Wheel Wells don't look "full" anymore. The stock Rally II's I took off - I was at 215/70-14 Front and 225/70-14 Rear.. We're only talking a Half-Inch taller of a tire in the Front, but damned if the wheel well doesn't look empty now.
15x8 Rears - 205/70-15 Direct Drill 5x4.75
Nothing not to like. They're brand new. I like that they look deep, and give the illusion of a Wide Tire on the back without the Wide Tire on the back kinda thing.
Tires are standard B.S. Douglas Radials. They're new.. can't complain..
Conclusions:
Not too sure Unilugs are for me, so I am selling the two Unilug 14x7 Fronts, along with the new 14" Tires on them. (If you're a member here, and you can pick them up - A 30 pack or two of Bud Light (About $40) and they're yours.
I am going 15x7 Direct Drilled up front with 215/70-15 on the Front, and 235/70-15 Rears. (RWL Cooper Cobra's - Cragar S/S Rims NEED RWL) this also will give me my 1" Stance back (I had a 1" nice stance with 205/70-14 and 225/70-14 on the stock rims - the 15" 215/235 combo will return that).
Going to keep the two new 15" Tires for spares.
My stock 14x7 Rally II's with new BFG Radial T/A's are staying in the garage, to retain the ability to return to stock.. unless someone needs them and offers a fair price. Its not like 14" Rally II's are tough to come by. If someone here needs them, sendme a PM. I don't want to ship, tho.. St. Louis Area, and I would evenbe willing to travel a bit.
All in all, even buying two new Rims and 4 New Tires, Im still going to be around $300 cheaper than if I did the whole shebang new, plus I will have a couple spare tires out of the gig... I ain't mad...
Now, the pic... (Only one I have at the moment)
