V8 with V6 gears?

I'm dropping a '93 350 in place of the 4.3l that came in my '85 Monte. Will I have any problems running the V6 gears?

im running my olds 350 right now with 2.41's right now. I dont have any issues but the biggest concern would be low end pinging but should be something you can tune out of it with timing changes
