VHT gold engine paint

has anyone used the VHT universal gold paint on their motors?? it seems to be the closest match to the oldsmobile gold i have seen without paying 15$ a can and 15$ shipping for the oldsmobile gold. i know VHT has the metal flake and the enamel does anyone have pics of their motors painted with those colors??

I have not used the gold paint, but VHT is the best engine paint available IMHO. Unfortunately, VHT is harder to find these days (at least where I'm at)

never used the gold color but i have used there paint on headers and so far awesome stuff !

ritter that looks pretty damn good, how many cans did you end up using??? and is that the enamel or the metal flake??

I didn't even use a whole can. I believe its the metal flake, I would have to double check to be sure. It definitely looks a lot better on the aluminum intake than it does on the rough cast iron block.

I'm pretty sure we used DupliColor when we did my 455...
