I would like to retract this earlier statement, 😀 .....I went back and checked my orders I have placed at Summit, and I used Dupli-Color DE1604, Universal Gold.....

POR-15 has an Olds Gold engine enamel.

I haven't used that specific color but I did use the black and it's by far the nicest paint I've used. At least compared to spray cans. Covers really well and is self leveling.

I used to get VHT at checker auto parts until the last time I went to get some, they no longer had it. Today I found that 'Oreilly auto parts has several colors of VHT engine paint & I ordered a can of GM satin black (VHT SP139) at the local store. A few hours later, they called to tell me it was ready to be picked up.

I have not used the gold paint, but VHT is the best engine paint available IMHO. Unfortunately, VHT is harder to find these days (at least where I'm at)

ritter that looks pretty damn good, how many cans did you end up using??? and is that the enamel or the metal flake??
