Can anybody tell me by the last 8 digits of my VIN what number production and what plant my car was made at. Thanks Steve Last Eight are EM391187

Very nice web site, but I don't understand how to decode the production number.

E Modelyear = 1984
M = Lansing Michigan
391187 = car number 291187 (number 1 starts with 100001 AFAIK)

This car is an 84 Hurst Olds and they only made 3500? just trying to figure out what number of production it was. Thanks Steve
