Depends on who does it. I went to a low overhead shop ten years ago in a city that is notorious for below average labor rates and paid $300...you do the math.
 
i have been quoted 400-600 in omaha for the stock quarter top, 800-950 for a full top. i am guessing that is average for the whole country or at least as far as big cities go??
 
On my 78 Monte I did all the prep work and it was $200 for the Landau to be put on. The guy is in the interior and top business and did an outstanding job. But, it is the prep work and replacing all the trim pieces that takes the time.
 
That ebay item mentions seams.....my original and my replacement don't have seams.
 
i think the ad is generic, some cars come factory with seams. yopu can also order the vinyl and glue online for like 100 bucks, thats what i did on my regal. they are not terrible hard to install but you will need a heat gun to do it if you do it from scratch
