Problem solved!

I was correct on my diagnosis using my trusty old ohms meter. The bridge rectifier took a dump, went to the swap meet today and bought an old complete Delco alternator for 5 bucks and swapped out the part i needed.

Not even the same model alternator, but it managed to fit and so far so good.

Funny but sad thing is this alternator is supposed to be remanned, but the part I replaced looked super old and worn out. Makes me wonder when I buy remanned if I'm getting rebuilt or just a used part.... :|
