what is the set up suspension wise...s10 kit in front I'm guessing and what did you do in the back bag over axle and use the factory 4 link or something different...Looks sweet as hell what ever you did 8)

Re: wagon getting closer to complete

HEY GUYS,

PULLED THE CAR OUT OF THE GARAGE FINIALLY!!! 😛

HERE IS A COUPLE OF PICTURES OF THE BACK CARGO AREA AND THE CUSTOM FAB WORK FOR THE DRIVE SHAFT TUNNEL AS WELL AS THE HUMP. I AM GOING TO CHANGE THE OIL AT WORK TODAY SO WHEN I HAVE IT UP IN THE AIR I TAKE A FEW PICTURES FROM UNDERNEATH.

Re: wagon getting closer to complete

Lookin' good, Bro. Nice clean installation. Just curious, where are you going to put the spare tire?

Re: wagon getting closer to complete

DON'T HAVE A SPARE? I'VE ONLY PUT 250 MILES ON THE CAR SINCE BUILDING IT. IF IT LEAVES HOME IT IN THE TRAILER, IF SOMETHING HAPPENS IN THE CITY IT GOES IN THE TRAILER OR I WOULD JUST GET A TIRE AND JACK. SOMETIMES YOU JUST HAVE TO LOSE THINGS FOR OTHER THINGS ! WISH I STILL HAD MY HEAT AND A/C 🙁

Re: wagon getting closer to complete

So this car will be strictly a trailered show car....gotcha. As far as the heat and A/C you might consider an aftermarket set-up.
I recall a member on here used an aftermarket streetrod a/c heater set-up from Classic Air or Vintage Air. It looks alot better than the ugly obtrusive airbox under the hood. Plus it takes up alot less space. You just have the bulkhead fittings coming thru the firewall. I would love to go that route, plus using the small efficient Sanden rotary compressor.

FE3X_Clone (sp?) did it with his Cutlass. Definitely a cleaner look than the factory A/C box, but he said with the way everything went together he lost the use of the glove box.

Re: wagon getting closer to complete

Thanks Darren,
That's the guy. I recall that he did have a few complications fitting it. But all in all it looks great and was nicely done.
Maybe one day...

How's it been going with you? Still in Arizona, or are you back in Michigan?
