So I have a quick question. I know the wagon has 2 headliner boards (front and rear). My question is, will a 2 door headliner board fit the front part of the wagon? reason i ask is because when im taking off the old foam on my headliner its so brittle and its breaking. If a 2 door headliner board will fit id like to use it or i guess if it doesn't ill fiberglass over the stock headliner board to make it more sturdy and strong. Thanks for the help as always.

No they are different, and the wagons are like hens teeth. I had 2 boards, a salvageable one I used, and one in not so good shape.

I personally don't think you'd be able to use a 2-dr or 4-dr sedan headliner board.
Where the wagon board continues back at the same angle, the coupe or sedan board will slope.
I would suggest either repairing yours carefully, or if you're lucky enough to find a good one intact that doesn't require shipping.

If you choose to repair (or fiberglass)yours, just try to smooth it out as much as possible. Imperfections will show up. The fabric that's available today seems to be thinner than what was available years back. The thicker stuff was able to hide imperfections a little better.

You're more than welcome, man. Jim is right, btw, wagon headliner boards are like finding hen's teeth.
If you do happen to find a good headliner in your travels, grab it. I regret not snatching them up when I had various opportunities.

Something I remember from the pre-internet days of J.C. Whitney was headliner kits that used the old bow set up to replace the foam board. Shame those are not around anymore.

I kinda like the old bow system. I remember doing the headliner in my old '61 bug. It came out quite nice, too.
I also did the headliner in my old Porsche...same bow type system.

I used military-grade duct tape on the upper side of mine to repair where it cracked. GM never intended these cheap materials to hold up for more than 30 years.

I did the same thing with gorilla duct tape and it help up very well when reinstalling the headliner.
