Wagon with 2+2 header panel

So, I have been thinking about this for a while. My wagon is not done yet, as most know. I wish I could photoshop one on my car, lol. I like the 2+2 header panels.

Thoughts?

I can't Photoshop, but I think you'll find these pics enlightening. This is a project from an older Hot Rod mag. They used a GP 2+2 nose on a Cutlass Cruiser wagon with Malibu fenders, I believe.

Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but didn't someone on the forum do this swap? I still think the coolest swap I've seen was the 84-87 GN front clip on a buick wagon.

I seen the GN front clip on the wagon, i dig it, but Not really what I am looking for. So, I think I may use the olds header and fenders, and the glass bumper and spoiler like I have been doing. Make me mad, I was at the scap yard a few months back, found an olds wagon. Got the header, and the headliner (cherry), but didn't think to grab the fenders. Ugh.

In a sense, you're turning the car into a Cutlass Cruiser, which isn't a bad thing. I guess the Buick header panel doesn't do it for you, huh?
I can't tell you how many times I left stuff behind that I should have grabbed.. Well, we can't keep kicking our selves..we can only hope that if we have another opportunity to find useful parts, we grab 'em this time around.
I had a few chances to pick up some nice 4-dr Cutlass fenders, but no one needed them at the time.
Well at least you did get the Cutlass header panel, and scored a good headliner board. Mine needs to be repaired with fiberglass matting and resin.
I think the car would look good with the Cutlass header panel and fiberglass bumper and air dam.

Jack, I am really leaning towards the cutlass front end. I have the header, when June rolls around i will be diving neck deep to get this thing done. So, I'll snapping some pics and the like.

I too have passed up so many things that I now kick myself for, but such is life right, lol.

I think the cutlass header will fit on the buick fenders just so i can get an idea if I want it or not, but after looking at the buick fenders, the wheel wells are not even the same shape as the quarter panel wheelwells, and I never noticed it till a few months ago.

i dunno, I am up in the air at this point. :?:
