that would have been really lame if he bought the wrong bolt pattern rims sorry guys. lol
 
I thought all G-Bodies were 5-lug, 4 3/4" for the lug pattern
 
Yes, all brands of the midsize GM were 5x4.75. 1978-1980, the wheel studs were 7/16-20. 1981 and later used 12mmx1.50. As long as the wheels you choose use the standard 60-degree conical holes, you can reuse the OEM lug nuts. Some aftermarket wheels use other lug nut designs and you'll need to specify the thread type when you buy. If you decide to use aluminum wheels from 1980s-1990s GM cars, they usually used a dual-thread lug nut that had and external coarse thread that retained a plastic cap. Some of these wheel hub bores need a (very) light filing to fit over the G-body rear axle stub that sticks out of the brake drum.
 
Will any year iroc z wheels work w/o any modifications? I see a lot of people having them on there cutlasses just wondering, thx
