Does anyone have a part number for an Ac Delco coolant fan switch that kicks on at 200 and off at 180 or so. I know I can order the one Jett makes or find one at Jeggs or one of the other sites. Just want to set up my fan and use that switch. Thanks in advance. 🙂

I pulled a few off a junk yard cars but the fans don't turn on till 200 degress.... so im interested as well.

I have the Hypertech fan switch from Summit Grounds my fan relays at 160 + or - 5 deg. On my Camino about 168 . works very well with myTwin Camaro fans.

What temp is your T-stat?

I have the Hypertech fan switch as well...it kicks in at 200 and off at 185 and I'm running a 180 thermostat with a triple core aluminum race rad....you can get the Hypertech fan switch at various on off temps

I think mine was for a late model Camaro to turn on the fans earlier than the stock switch. Is your car overheating ?

no, it's not over heating and on the highway the fan almost never kicks in....it ran hot but it didn't even overheat when the water pump I put on was spinning the wrong way..I have a serpentine set up and the reverse spin pump I bought wasn't, it was made for a conventional set up. I'm running one perma-cool 16" electric fan.....I like the temp up around 190 - 200 so the oil works better and the engine works better. My friend who has had seats in the Nascar tuck series and had a few rides this year in the nationwide series fills us in on some of the results of testing, one is they get the best hp out of an engine at around 210-220* ....

Cool, I just went to the serp drive also, I run the twin F-body fans and a 14 in pusher in ft of the condenser that only runs when the ac is on. Last summer here it was around 110-122 all summer. Mine ran about 208 -220 range . I also added a bottle of Purple Ice. It seems to keep the temp from creeping up while sitting in traffic.
