what gear are you using cause then makes a difference in the carrier you need....3.08 and down is a 2 series and 3.23 and up is a 3 series
Buy a $60 mini spool from Jeggs and call it a day --- 😀 Takes about an hour to install in an open rearend and the you can have a two tire frier instead of the single.
Never had a problem with the one in my S10. Only thing I ever noticed was when cornering fast the inside wheel would sometimes chirp a little. Not saying its the best idea, but ....

go around a corner slow and you'll hear the tire....spools are made for the track where in circle track the tires are staggered to turn left, spools are not made for the street..
and if you were going fast enough around corners if you don't stagger the wheels you must have had difficulty cause the car will push real bad

yup yup but if you get a really good deal on a series 2 carrier jegs n summit sell series 3 ring n pinion gears for a siries 2 diff. I have 4.10 richmond gear for a 2.41 factory limited slip unit don't know if i gonna use it tho... where u outta maybe I'll sell.pontiacgp said:
