fwiw There was a special order documented early I think first year MCSS that went to Mexico. It was on the net with pics etc a year or two ago.

Also some civilian 78-80 Malibus had 350 SB Chevy engines. Many with 4-speed sticks. Rare breeds, but they are there.

Go to autozone.com and you'll see a 350 four barrel listed, don't know if it's Chevy though.

We don't have enough time or space to list all the incorrect combinations listed in the computers at Autozone, Advanced, Pep Boys, Partsamerica.com, etc.

I am racing this car on a circle track and re skinning is common practice so I could say my car started as a regal, monte, grand prix or cutlass but the malibu is a bit shorter so it would be harder to say....

As others have pointed out, ALL G-body 2 dr, 4 dr, and wagons got a 108" wheelbase. Caminos got a 117" wheelbase. That's true for 78-88.

will the track pull the heads to check if it's a 305 or 350 if not get a 305 balancer fill in the serial numbers on the passenger side front deck of the block and put some silicone over the casting numbers on the back of the block hand mist some motor oil on those two spots and cover with fine saw dust oh and flatten one tire and wedge a bolt in the front disk so they'll think it's a 305

Woops, I guess Autozone had it right afterall.
The 76-81 Olds parts catalog (GM mind you) lists the 350 Chev 4 bbl in 78 and 79, option code LM1.
