its time for my cutlass weather stripping to be replaced. where can i buy the kit for the best value. i need the whole car except the trunk, and i have t tops. and ive never done weather stripping before, how do you take it off and put it on?
thanks

Get what you can from the dealer. Its hard to find seals for cheap that are not garbage.

well what i did was started at one end for the doors and removed the little plastic pieces and getting a small putty knife or a large flathead and peeling the weather stripping off because theres adhesive keeping it from shifting. youll need some to keep the new stuff from doing that aswell. peel it all off and clean out the remaining adhesive and rubber bits. after all that, to install the new stuff, i pinched the new one in half the long way and slowly put it back in bit by bit. before ya do this you should put the new adhesive in, and make sure its the right kind so as not to rot the new rubber or cause rust.at the end youll have to put more cips in. the new stripping will prolly be a little too big or too small so shrink or pull it out evenly throughout the whoe thing. then adjust the windows as needed and wala! yer done.

I was looking at lonestar car parts ebay store and I noticed some weatherstrip kits are for an "s" class cutlass. Is that any different than a Supreme/Calais/Salon? Just curious 😀

The only Cutlass S I have heard of was from the 60's-70's.

That might be true. I never really paid attention to the newer front wheel drive cars.
