When I quit driving a truck over the road, I weighed 230 at 5'9". Since I started working for Xerox where I walk around a lot and cut some of the cholesterol out of my diet, I'm down to 212 after one year and it goes down a pound or two every month. I think the more gradually you lose weight, the easier it is to keep it off. Having a job that forces me to move around I just consider the blessing that is probably saving my life. I've just hated that my body has slowed down so much, thinking back to what I could do when I was 20 compared to now at 40. I used to be able to get up at 6 AM on weekdays, fly out the door, work all day, stay up till midnight every night, and then party all weekend. Now it takes 3 cups of coffee just to get up and out the door 🙂

Looking forward to my weekend weigh in tho.
I feel a bit better, and none of my pants stay up anymore haha.

I need summer shorts but cant buy them because they wont fit soon after hahaha.

When we were on vacation in London before Xmas my daughter snapped a shot of me crashed out on the bed in the hotel.

Seeing my gut from the outside looking in was not pretty.

When we got back,I was 252#,London food and beer did not help.

Since I have maanged to get down to 210/215 and seem to be staying there.

Hey 40# should help my E.T. :lol:
