If that's the case, I will wait a few more years to post some more LOL!!!:ROFLMAO:.....no, actually its put up for the winter already, i basically purchased it, did a complete tune up, cleaned the interior (after the pics I posted) and put it in storage. Wanted to do more to it this year but had absolutely no time it seems :/

Where did you find it ? Does it have any other options like A/C ?
It does have AC and the accessory lighting, trunk, glove box ect ect, its crazy to look back and think such things as THAT were options when today's cars have EVERYTHING standard lol. The wheels were special ordered along with the interior color combo, which in my opinion is pretty sharp. Has the cruise, tilt, delay wiper ect ect ....am/fm 8 track lol, i have the window sticker, it was a pretty hefty optioned car with over 3K in options. That's pretty significant being that's 50% of the cars original window sticker price!

Like I said due to the weight, size and being RWD these Butless models should have competed with the Capri/Mustang. Part of the reason the Camaro/Firebird was usually slower, it weighed more. The Buick with the wheel flares and spoiler are definitely the least ugly. Imagine these surviving and a GNX model in 87, might have been knocking on 12's factory!

I agree, as far as an aerodynamic stand point, these were IT!... in the 1978-81 A bodies and 1982-88 1/2 G bodies, these were the MOST aerodynamic, and in my own opinion, a few years TOO early in design for most consumers taste, HENCE their short lived production and ultimate demise. If GM WERE to have produced such a car using this body, the GN or GNX intercooled drivetrain, all jet black, OMG, that would be one SLEEPER that would have had EVERYONE'S respect for sure.

Mine was almost 9K sticker price. With cars like ours, we have to stick together. We need to share information & parts sources because of the rarity of them. That's why I created the Facebook page for them & the Cutlass Salon.
