Hi Harry, Yes, That was me that shiped the cutlass bumper tirm to you for gbodypart.com. Glad you like the bumper trim and it will fit perfect and looks better then gm trim. Gbodyparts sells my bumper trim strips and moldings on their web site and i drop ship the trim for them when i can help them out. { To all the above with questions. } I have sold over 600 full sets of the cutlass chrome bumper trim and never had any unhappy customers. I do not get my trim from pepboys or Oreillys. I know what that cheap trim is from them and it does not hold up from fading and peeling . I buy all my trim from company made in the good old USA and it holds up and fits perfect. This trim is not cheap at all and comes with blue plastic peel off coating on the chrome finish to protect it till the trim is put on. The oringinal gm trim can not be found any more for years now. I have the Grand Prix bumper trim to and it is not 7/16" and that is not the right size, to big for the 81-87 Grand prixs. The trim i sell does not come with the metal clips on the back side like gm trim had. Don't need the metal clips on the back of the trim, because the adhesive on back of the trim holds the trim to the bumper covers. That is just a waste that gm done to hold the trim to bumper covers if the adhesive came loose. The cutlass trim does not come to a point on the front surface like the gm did but the trim fits the bumper cover grooves perfect and does not fade or peel like this cheap trim people get from parts store. How do i know, I tryed it out on my first 84 dark blue cutlass i redid and after two months the trim faded in spots and the chrome finish started peeling off. I was amd to have to redo the trim twice and finally found the trim i sell and no problems at all on all four cutlass's i redid and put the trim on. I got the front and rear chrome bumper trim strips for all the 81-88 Cutlass, 442 and the black bumper trim for the hurst olds. Also the chrome bumper trim for all the monte carlos 78-88 and have the 4 wide side bumper moldings for the 81-86 monte carlos. pluse the front chrome bumper guards and the top rear bumper trim strips and the center T trim piece. Grand prix bumper trim strips to for the 81-87. Had them for years now and selling them all over the world with very happy customers to just be able to get the trim and with 100% satisfaction or your money back. {The way it should be !} So, if you want the trim that fits and does not fade or peel for your car, check it out. As for Joe with the brown monte carlo on here, he has all the bumper trim strips and 4 side bumper moldings on his car and bumper guards and top center T piece going on soon as he can get to the monte when it warms up and salt is gone.454cutlass said:
