Getting ready for spring so checking into buying 2-stage black for the Elco. What are your opinions on brand, and clear? Since I haven’t been in A/B for years, I don’t have a preferred brand anymore. Since I don’t print my own money, it’s got to be within reason on price. Not cheap but reasonable.

I'm a PPG guy & would suggest for a budget minded line would be their Shop-Line or Omni, little more go DBC. PPG code 9300 for black & will be one of the lowest priced colors. For another clear option, Upol may not be the cheapest but does have a nice strong finish & should be UV safe.

I’ve been considering Kirker since I’ve been using they’re primers. I found a House of Kolors clear that SOUNDS pretty good Kosmic clear USC01. Any experience with this by anyone?

I haven't used the clear or base but I'm going to. I used their epoxy-primer. I have no complaints. The product is awesome. Their customer service is even better. I feel like SPI is perfect for DIYers. Its not really cheap but it isn't outrageous either. You can go on their forum or call the tech guy Barry. He'll answer any time and answer all the questions you have. Somebody experienced like you can get show car quality out of their products.

Has anyone used the Restoration Shop paint? It sounds good. They offer a complete gallon kit that has paint, clear, reducer and activator for under $400.00
