She sounds nice. I can definately tell there's some good compression there with the small chambers of those heads. It'll be interesting to see what you run at the track.
Broke1.... a person can port all they want on small runner heads, it's not gonna change the runner size. It's just gonna open the entrance & exit. Small runner heads like 416's are great for low-end torque, not big end power.
I don't doubt you've seen cars with "305 heads" run fast in the 1/8, but lets see a car with "305 heads" run fast in the 1/4, not gonna happen my friend. I'll guarantee they are at their limit & outa air at the 1/8.
A 6.50 1/8 should translate to a 10-10.4 1/4
No way on earth are you gonna run low 10's on a 155 cc runner head. NEVER!!

Thats bullshit they arent ok heads. The are every bit as good as double humps, fuelie's,or Vortec's if the right person ports them....

Now that we're a little off topic..... Why didn't you state that the car you seen run had a power adder??? That makes all the difference. Don't make a blanket statement, be specific.
Take the 3.8L Buick, same heads on the N/A engine as the turbo engine, 200 HP difference, and that's stock!! Power adders, the great equalizer.
Take that Rustang off the baby-bottle and see how it runs.![]()
thanks, not sure what it will run will be interesting to see for myself also,82355supreme said:cutty said:ive took it for a couple test runs out by my work, seems to pull great till 6200, i know and understand what everyone is saying, but they are on there and is going to the track in 3 weeks and will post what it runs and get a video of it,carb seems to work great, heres a video of it tuned up,dont mind the flat tire guess it didnt like doing donuts to much.....lol, not saying i dont agree, but will see what it runs then worry bout changing them
