as the title asks what does the Pontiac Grand Prix Americana package include?

Was it a dealer marketing package?

im not 100% sure it has the Americana badges on the dash and on the C pillars on the exterior

I never heard of it before either. A quick search turned up this from http://www.pontiacsonline.com/JIM%20WANGERS.htm

"the Americana had a Landau roof and a targa type band. It really looked nice on the 1981 Grand Prix body style. That car started out as a regional promotion for the Boston/New England area Pontiac dealers, but caught on with the New York Pontiac dealers ."

kind of makes sence! i found a little sticker plack thing in the glove box from a sun roof company down in Boston mass

Yes, it was an exterior trim/roof treatment available at 1 or 2 Boston area Pontiac dealers... Ive seen a couple, including this one recently on craigslist.. did you buy it?

i did buy it. 😀 the pic below is the day i got it home. it now has center caps and sits a little higher, replaced the front springs and had to do the pads, shoes, calipers, wheel cylinders and hardware kit.
