Iconic? well I think the internal combustion engine changed and reshaped the world. Second would be the computer. I think so anyway.

Id have to say Otto Benz for creating the very first automobule and naming it after his daughter mercedes. Then id have to say the steam engine because it was the worlds first engine. lastly the mustang airplane in WWII. My 2 cents. 😀

How about the cell phone?
Its basic ideal, a traveling person way to communicate and a good emergency based aid is now eating away good moral ethics. Its changing the world at a far higher rate than anything to date including the PC while it destroys morality. A replacement for common sense is the way I look at it.

Morality? What is that? Post-Modernism did away with the concept of absolute morality years ago. Now it is all subjective to the individual. To someone, talking on their cell phone while driving and running over a small child in their mental fog could be the most moral thing a person could do, so how dare you call them immoral! Who are you to judge?
(BTW, this is sarcasm....but I do drive around with a cell phone glued to my ear 4 hours a night delivering pizza)
