If you are referring to the plastic cylindrical item with the two hoses that is your charcoal canister. It is part of the emissions system. Mine is a little different as I have a TBI engine. One line allows gas vapors in and on mine one allows air in.

if you are talking about the two electrical wires they look to be aftermarket wires so it's impossible to figure out what they are intended for

Where do these leads originate from? Are they wires, or plastic vacuum hoses? It's hard to tell in the picture.

the wire says Standard High Resolution Speaker on it 🙂 Nothing factory for sure
