im looking to replace all my shocks on my 1985 cutlass supreme.. what shocks would be dependable and reliable? im not trying to go the cheap route or spend to much $$.. and aswell what is better monotube or twintube?? and whats the difference?? and if i can get them in red that would be awesome.. thanx

Whats your application? stock, mild or heavy performance? What kind of feel do you want, and are you looking for an adjusted ride height?

i called orilys, napa, autovalue and couple other local ones but anyways for my 1981 cutlass but 81-88 should be close to same depending on waight engine etc. factory springs in moog brand they all but 1 said rear coil springs are part# moog 5379 and for front moog 5602 most guys on here looking for that lower stance i just wanted factory cause of rims and elbach is only one that have them in red but their 1" lower in front .8 in rear summit has them its really how u want it to look and perform i guess few choices i just got the moogs and base coat clear coat them they look sweet hope it helps i would just call auto parts store or elbach or moog support line

I've tried several different brands, and have settled on Bilstein's as being the best overall for ride and quality. They cost a little more than the cheapest, but will last longer and give a better ride.

im just looking to get a mild performance type of shock.. i have stock suspension for now.. im going to get some lowering springs soon though
