what sbc 350 would be easiest swap in 81 monte ls? Im looking on swapping out my old 3.8 with a chevy 350 but im not quite sure what one would be best. im looking for a little help guys. what motor and transmission swap could i do that will allow me to pass smog, and will be somewhat affordable? my 3.8 is fuel injected i believe, so i would like to keep it that way.

Any of the GMPP crate engines would probably be your best choice.

No. But u will need all the wiring, trans, ECM, and prob a cutom burned PROM.
