Hi Guys, I am going to replace my brake lines in a couple weeks and plan on buying the coil brake lines so i can create my own. Was wondering if you guys knew what size brake lines went from Master Cylinder to Front Wheels and MC to Rear Wheels. Thanks -- ElCam

i think if you look in my thread when i redid my brakes itll have the sizes yoll need. oh and when you do get the right size, DONT FORGET TO PUT THE SCREW THING ON BEFORE YOU FLARE THE ENDS! that pissed me off alot.

Sounds like something I would do (and also get pissed about).

I'm not sure about the master lines, but I can tell you from the proportioning valve to each front wheel is 3/16". The line from the prop. valve to the rear brake hose/splitter is 1/4". Then from the splitter/hose mounted to the rear axle is 3/16" going to each wheel cylinder. I used straight line that is already flared. for the 3/16" lines I bent them and cut off the extra and reflared the line. for the 1/4" that goes to the rear I had to use a union. I did need an adapter for the 1/4" line at the prop. valve. I don't recall the size tho. A coil of line will work as well as straight. just more flaring, which I hate to do. Also for the master cylinder lines you could grab a few standard wrenches to check their diameters.
