Re: What size wheel adapters are needed to run 22inch 3pce 2

yeah my bad i mean im gonna use the adapters and see if they work....hopefully1.25 cuz i only need to push the wheel out from the frame and keep car stock, not trying to create a DONK..just love the look with the staggered wheels and 22inch is the largest i would go on a GN and since the wheels mount right up i shouldnt have any issues since the fronts are 22x9.5....thanks for ur quick response

Backspacing more than 4.75 inches and thats pushing it, will require a notch or spacers/adapters. Just letting you know, the wheels on my Buick now are within a 1/4" maybe less of hitting the frame rails and they are a 4.5" backspaced wheel. Find out your backspacing and go from there, you might be able to adapt it out but it wouldnt look right unless you flared or rolled the fenders and not to mention the added strain it would put on the wheel studs. Not trying to be an *ss, just trying to help a fellow gbody owner out by letting him know what the issues will be.

none of my cars where or are lifted.i had a 2inch adapter on the cutlass and those rims 22x9.5 with a 255/30/22 tire,i just
tried a 1/2 spacer today it clears the frame easily ,and i havent rolled the lips yet.my current rims on the t are 22x9.5 with
+10 offset.i am waiting for my adapters to come in.if you can get a hole of some 1/2 inch spacers for a test fit try them.takes some measurements and go from there.but dont try driving untill you change your studs.
