The other day i bought a grant steering wheel with a quick release on it. I gonna use it cause it in awsome shape and its very tight with no play once put together. It also has a lock that keeps the release botton from releaseing when locked. I know it in good shape cause the wheel has build date of 7/92 and i looks almost new. I just would like to know what brand it is. And to me it looks like it more for a street car then race car type quick disconnect. Thanks in advance.

That looks like a grant no wheel no steal.I have one on my car and the only problem with it is the horn sometimes dosent work, other than that its a nice product but order a new key thru grant it should have a # on the key or have a sticker under it with the #.

Thanks a lot but all the letters on the grey sticker are worn off but thanks. I take the lock out and see if there a number on it

If you have the red original key I think the # is on that also.possibly a lock Smith can make a copy for you.

Thanks slow442 i took the lock cylinder out it did have 3 number on it. I sent grant products a email with those numbers so hopefully i can get sum keys to lock it. Do you think there would be a issue with driving it without it locked?

I wouldn't drive without it locked I value my life and car too much to take a chance with the steering wheel falling off.if you get a response from grant try to get the installation instructions, it looks like some hardware is missing and should be replaced.
Dave

I just downloaded the instructions and it has all the parts for it i just got to get da install kit for my column. And i got intouch with grant products and said the key will be in the mail next week free of charge.
