I actually liked my Diesel. Call me crazy. I bought a 82 Monte with the "N" Diesel knowing it had a bad head gasket. Ran real hot, but never broke down. Worst part was convincing the Gas Station attendant that I used Diesel in a "car".GP403 said:
Worst engine IMO was the 305/307. Not because of lack of power or reliability, but because it just screamed that our Montes and other G-Bodies weren't worth it in the eyes of GM. Why not the 350 or TPI like their precious Camaro or Vette. I'd like to have seen better engine/trans combos for the Family Sports Coupes. :wink:
