what year is my motor?

i got this car with the motor already swapped into it the guy said it is a 350 olds motor but how do i know what year it is in order to buy parts for it :?:

i had this problem, make sure you get the BLOCK CASTING #. its eather on the front passenger side of the motor or the driverside rear of the motor. get in there with a good flashlight and a wire brush. i had a guy tell me i had a 350 and it turned out to be a sbc 307. DO RESEARCH!!!!!! learn from my mistakes, cuz i havent...
