Have a 68 350 olds engine with #5 heads I have a chance to get #2 heads off a 330 engine which ones are the better set of heads? Thought about just getting the #2's having them built just for a extra set maybe change them later down the road

All those earlier small block Olds heads are pretty much the same as far as performance goes. Some claim that the #5's are the best in stock form, but I personally don't really buy it. The 330 heads have a slightly smaller combustion chamber but I think you need to have the pushrod holes modded to work with a later style block like a 350 because of the different cam bank angle. Just stick with the #5's.

P.S. Some of those earlier 330 heads had some funky, undesirable rocker setups too. I don't know if the #2's are like that though.

Alright I was just curious I read somewhere about the weird rocker setups on those two which kinda pushed me away from them. And damn 84 I'd be pissed
